Councilmember Cheh to Honor the District’s First Responders
Councilmember Cheh will be joined by Mayor Bowser and Council colleagues in the presentation of a Ceremonial Resolution to Engine Co. 16
WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Tuesday, September 11th, Councilmember Mary M. Cheh will recognize and thank the District’s Fire & Emergency Medical Service responders for the significant sacrifices they make for our community. At 10:30 am, she will be joined by Mayor Bowser and her fellow Councilmembers at Engine Co. 16 to present a Ceremonial Resolution to Chief Gregory Dean and the D.C. Firefighters Association in appreciation of their service to the District. In honor of the National Day of Service, Councilmember Cheh will tour all of the fire houses in Ward 3 throughout the day to deliver Georgetown Cupcakes and visit with FEMS staff.
