Press Release: DC Democratic Party District-Level Delegate Election Results

WASHINGTON, DC — The DC Democratic Party conducted an online election using an encrypted ballot for District-Level Delegates to the Democratic National Convention. The allocation of the District-Level Delegates will not be final until we know the outcome of the June 2nd Democratic Primary Elections.
Thirteen (13) district-level delegates will be elected and are divided by two (2) Congressional Districts, each consisting of four (4) wards. Congressional District 1 includes wards 1, 2, 6, and 8. There will be four (4) male and three (3) female district-level delegates elected. Congressional District 2 includes wards 3, 4, 5, and 7. There will be three (3) male and three (3) female district-level delegates elected.
Over 1,000 DC Democrats voted, and there were 64 total candidates. A list of the candidates, including their pictures and bios can be found at dcdemocraticparty.org/candidates-for-delegate. The district-level delegate election results by campaign and congressional district are as follows:
