Press Release: Part of Beach Drive temporarily closed to ensure public safety

WASHINGTON—The U.S. Park Police and National Park Service have temporarily closed Beach Drive between Park Road NW / Tilden Street NW (near Peirce Mill) and Blagden Road NW following heavy rains to ensure public safety. No accidents have been reported in this area. This section of the road and the adjacent area will remain closed as engineers and work crews complete a storm water damage assessment.
