Who’s on DC’s general election ballot

Here’s a listing of the citywide and ward candidates on DC’s general election ballot. We’ve included links to candidates’ political websites and Twitter accounts for those running for positions other than president and vice president.

To limit the spread of COVID-19, the DC Board of Elections is hoping that most votes will be cast prior to Election Day on Nov. 3. To that end, the board will mail all active voters an absentee ballot in order to reduce crowds at vote centers; the board says that ballots will be sent out beginning the first week of October. Drop boxes will be provided throughout the city as an alternative to the U.S. mail.

For the general election, 32 early vote centers will be open daily from Tuesday, Oct. 27, through Monday, Nov. 2; operating hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. On Election Day, nearly 100 vote centers will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
