Louis Perwien in The Post: D.C., please tax me more to fund recovery for all our residents

I’m proud to pay taxes that support my city and its residents. D.C. has the opportunity and the resources we need to build a society that is compassionate and equitable, where race and ward do not predict one’s health, education or income level — if only we’re willing to ask more from wealthy people such as me and my family.
