Gregg Pemberton in The Post: Second-guessing D.C. police officers’ actions won’t make anyone safer

On Aug. 8, D.C. police officers confiscated an illegal gun from a person believed to be selling drugs on the street in a neighborhood experiencing high crime. Soon after the arrest, a 45-second video of the arrest was posted to social media. Long before all the facts were known, many people rushed to judgment and condemned the officers for using excessive force.
