Washington Post Editorial Board: The mighty work of DC Appleseed

After 20 years leading DC Appleseed Center for Law and Justice, Walter Smith will step down this year as executive director. Much of the center’s work has been done behind the scenes, and that makes it all the more important to now call attention to the accomplishments of the nonprofit under Mr. Smith’s dogged leadership. Hopefully his successor will build on its rich legacy of taking on — and making a difference on — some of the toughest issues facing the District.
