WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) will receive the National Urban League’s “Living Legend Award” on Friday, July 22, 2022.

“I am very pleased to partner with the National Urban League on so many important issues,” Norton said. “Perhaps most importantly, I am especially appreciative of the ceaseless and strong support of the National Urban League for District of Columbia statehood. I am grateful to be receiving this award and am especially appreciative of the work the National Urban League does to advance civil rights.”
