I am homeless in Mcpherson Park. DHS nor DHHS had came by with water nor a coolin bus. The DDSC staff is rude and the environment stressful. Even if we were to go there it wouldn’t hold us all.
Last week there were THREE cooling spray tents at Franklin Park for the BOTB Arts Festivsl.
Why wont Downtown DC BID provide at least one cooling spray tent for Mcpherson?
Remember they evicted us from Franklin during the pandemic and we are forbidden fro returning.

The homeless living in McPherson Square Park were ignored.
There was no cooling bus, no cold water, no cooling spray tents.
The could not go to the DDSC because that room is small.
Leaving their tents would cause them to be trashed.

-There have been 22 days of 90degree weather so far in 2022.
-On 17June the temperatue was 99 degrees.
