DDOT to Close Single Lanes Inbound and Outbound on
Chain Bridge Road over the Potomac River
October 15 -November 26

(Washington, DC)–The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is conductingbridge preventive maintenance activities at Chain Bridge over Potomac River and the C&O Canal Monday October 15, 2018 thru Friday November 26, 2018; weather permitting.

Intermittent lane closures will be installed as needed on Chain Bridge Road: Monday thru Friday 9:30 am-3:00 pm. Lane closures will be in one direction and one lane will be open to traffic.The traveling public can expect some inconvenience but this lane closure will not significantly affect traffic flow. All construction-related work and dates are subject tochange, depending on weather and other unforeseen conditions.
