(Washington, DC) — The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is scheduled to temporarily close the Klingle Valley Trail on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.

This closure is needed for utility investigation required for the upcoming upgrade of an existing DC Water storm sewer within the limits of the trail. This trail closure replaces the previously scheduled closure of July 22, 2019.

Upon completion and analysis of the utility investigation, additional construction to update the sewer system in this area will require closures along the trail. The public will be notified of trail closures prior to this work commencing.
