In addition to the speed camera issues, what about the parking citations? I received a parking ticket despite the meter not functioning. I even called and reported the meter not working, and contested the ticket online (citing the meter repair request number 311 gave me). DC sent me an adjudication letter saying that they checked with DDOT and no meters were reported out, and DC still finds me liable for the parking ticket. How can I have the repair request number (and subsequent emails from DC Office of Communications on said meter repair request) if DDOT is still not relaying that information to DC DMV? Or are the adjudication services not correlating that info? What’s going on with this?
