LinkLinks Kelly Smith and Rachel Crouch in The Post: Increasing education funding in D.C. is essential By Editor On Jun 4, 2020 Last updated Jun 4, 2020 47 Share Earlier this year, all across the city, there was an acknowledgment that we need to do more for low-income students, including homeless children and those in foster care. Nearly half of all D.C. public school students are identified as being at-risk of falling behind or falling further behind, and they have a right to an outstanding education. Students like ours, who traverse the city to get the education that’s right for them, are eager to learn and connect with the supportive services they need. We, as adults and educators, have a responsibility to do the best we can to prepare them for the future. 47 Share FacebookTwitterReddItWhatsAppEmailPrint
