Kudos to Mayor Bowser! Washingtonians are so proud about the way she stood up to Trump and how comfortable she is walking among us without military protection. She also stands courageously agains the few who try to blackmail her into defunding police services. We want our police to protect all of us, especially those subject to gun violence that kills them and their children. We also want to be sure that inhumane policing ends in our lovely city. We stand behind our strong and good mayor and are grateful for her leadership at this difficult moment.
