Bridge Repairs at Rhode Island Avenue over 
North Capitol Street NE July 10-11

(Washington, DC)—The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will conduct bridge preservation and repair activities at the Rhode Island Avenue bridge over North Capitol Street NE, a part of the District of Columbia Bridge Network.

This work will be performed from Tuesday night, July 10, 2018 to July 11, 2018; weather permitting. All work will take place at night after the evening rush hour 9:30 pm to 5:00 am.

Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas. Motorists should anticipate moderate-to-heavy delays due to the lane closures.

Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the inspection and construction personnel.
