Greater Greater Washington: After a pause and a pivot during the pandemic, DC’s neighborhood shared ride program is back

Residents looking for transit options in the city may have more choices as the DC Department of For-Hire Vehicles (DFHV) brought back DC Neighborhood Connect, a shared on demand shuttle service that covers parts of wards 1, 4, and 5 last month. Beginning July 12 the service now covers parts of Ward 8.

    It’s a da*#+ shame that this service is NOT extended to Ward 7 AND Ward 8. What in the world are you thinking… the other Wards are “more deserving” than Ward 7? Ward 8 is just as disadvantaged as Ward 7!
    You people are idiots to discriminate like you have whether it’s conscious or not! You stink!😠
