John Garvey was by far, the worst president that CUA ever had.
His time in office will be remembered by turmoil between external lawsuits that drained millions of dollars of the university and deep moral decay and frustration among faculty due to worsening salaries (less than 10% of average in his 12 years) and working conditions while Garvey increased bureaucracy and his own salary (more than 100% between 2010 and 2017)
D.C doesn’t owe anything at all to Garvey and C.U.A. should be relieved and thankful for his dismissal as president after terrible 12 years in office, Thank You Lord for saving CUA !!
