LinkLinks DCist: D.C. Could Allow Residents With Unpaid Debts To Get Driver’s Licenses. Traffic Safety Advocates Have Concerns By Editor On Jul 11, 2022 Last updated Jul 11, 2022 38 Share A D.C. resident is not able to get a driver’s license or renew an existing one if they owe more than $100 to the local government. He says the bill would reduce racial inequity because Black residents are disproportionately impacted by fines and fees. 38 Share FacebookTwitterReddItWhatsAppEmailPrint
