District Links: CFO says tax season for 2025 will proceed under local code; council adopts bills on MPD transparency when working with feds; and more

Amid uncertainty caused by a legal and political tussle between local and federal officials, the District’s independent chief financial officer said today that the Office of Tax and Revenue will continue to accept and process income tax filings for 2025 under local law.
