Single Lane Closures Along Massachusetts Avenue on June 16

(Washington, DC) – The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will enact single-lane closures on east- and west-bound Massachusetts Avenue NW between 2nd and 4th Street NW for resetting and installation of granite curbs on Saturday, June 16 at 8:00 amand will continue until the work is complete.

Most construction activity will be focused at the intersection of 4th and Massachusetts. The sidewalks and the remaining eastbound and westbound lanes will remain open.

Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the work zone. Motorists and pedestrians should anticipate moderate-to-heavy delays and are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations.
