LinkLinks Washington Post: Principals critical of D.C. school system’s plan to reopen elementary schools By Editor On Oct 28, 2020 Last updated Oct 28, 2020 21 Share By afternoon, nearly a third of students at McKinley Middle School in Northeast Washington stop showing up to some of their virtual classes. It’s the responsibility of the school’s four behavioral technicians to enter the virtual classrooms and determine who is missing. They text students or call their parents to find out why the children are absent and to encourage them to sign in to class. If these school staffers notice any cyber bullying in classrooms, the responsibility falls to them to address it. 21 Share FacebookTwitterReddItWhatsAppEmailPrint
